Thank you for your interest in GPCo. We are a renewable energy consulting firm with its main office on the south shore of Montreal and its US office in Salt Lake City.

 

Our team is presently composed of a diversified and experienced group of individuals qualified in numerous aspects of renewable energy with particular emphasis on wind project development.  We presently employ engineers, analysts, scientists, meteorologist, GIS specialist and support staffs that provide consulting services to customers ranging from meteorological tower installation, Sodar deployments, wind data quality control, micro siting, wind energy production estimates and wind energy forecasting. 

 

We are currently looking for hard working professionals with initiative, good analytical skills and the desire to participate in the growing renewable energy industry in the following position:
 

Experienced Wind Project Analyst (posted Nov. 27, 2008)

  • Analyzing wind resource and other data to develop energy estimates for commercial wind energy projects.
  • Met data validation, conducting modeling studies, estimating wind project output, selecting appropriate turbine models, designing turbine layouts using Wind Farmer software, estimating energy losses, developing photomontages, etc.

 

The successful candidate must be detail oriented, be available to travel and possess good communication skills for completing clear and accurate reports in English. Candidate should possess engineering, science or meteorology degree, in depth skills with industry software (WASP, MS Micro, Windfarm, Windfarmer or Wind pro) and a minimum of three and preferably five years of practical experience in the wind resource assessment field. The ability to communicate in French would be an asset.
