At GPCO, we focus our business on renewable energy and we also live by our values, respecting the natural environment in which we live and work and promoting these practices within our daily tasks. Below are some of GPCo's environmental initiatives to promote sound environmental practices:
- An active internal environmental committee comprised of employees continually providing new ideas to supplement GPCo's environmental policy.
- Environmental procedures for waste management and materials recycling in the field.
- Environmental challenges to reduce the volume of office waste generated every month.
- An official ban on the use of styrofoam kitchenware at the office.
- Carpooling and the use of public transportation is strongly encouraged and facilitated by the environmental committee.
- Most office paper supply and all business cards are made from 100% post-consumer paper fibers.
